Welcome to my new architecture and design blog here on 1<3VB.NET! Thanks to Chris for letting me make a new home here. I'm still going to be posting to my GWB blog, but this will be a *pure* technology blog, with code examples, discussions around architecture and design, and of course VB.NET.

Over the next few weeks I'll be posting on topics like design pattern implementation and how the new 3.5 technologies play a role in your application planning.

His focus is on web application development, but also has experience developing applications for the Windows desktop and mobile platforms. In addition to his consulting duties, D'Arcy is on the board of the Winnipeg .NET User Group and is an INETA (International .NET Association) Membership Mentor for the Canadian prairies. In January 2008 he was named a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional for Microsoft's web application platform, ASP.NET.
